Productive Meetings
A quick way to evaluate your meetings
How well do your meetings work? What do participants think of them? What do they like about the way you run meetings? How do they think they could be improved? If you don’t know, it is time to ask.
Occasionally schedule a few minutes at the end of meetings to ask for feedback. The process can be quite fast and simple. No carefully crafted questionnaire is required.
Give each participant a sheet of paper. Instruct them to draw a line down the middle of the paper. On one side they can list what they felt went well (the positives) and on the other, suggest ways the meeting could be improved.
In less than five minutes you will have all the feedback you need to make your future meetings more productive and worthwhile.
During his More Productive Meetings in Less Time presentations, Nelson Scott provides participants with tools to plan, conduct and follow up meetings more effectively.
